THE CRYSTAL TEMPLE OF INNER PEACE
FEBRUARY 2007
If you have a quartz crystal of your own to use, you can have it with you for this meditation. If it is a small one, you can hold it or lie in the yoga relaxation pose and place it over your heart centre on your chest. If it is a large one, you can sit with it in front of you. It is helpful to play meditative music like Crystal Suite by Steve Halpern (available from us if you are in England)
Begin by gazing at the crystal. Let its facets and sides catch the light. Feel the light bringing joy and enthusiasm for your life and achievements. It dissolves away the shadows of depression and upsets.
Close your eyes and visualise the crystal in front of you, like a large transparent building. It has a pointed roof, like the point of the crystal. There is a door to go in the crystal. Do so and you feel as though you are bathed in colour and light as the light plays on the sides of the crystal. It is as if you are in a six-sided crystal temple. Each side of the crystal reflects a different colour and at the apex of the crystal all the colours blend into one, as the light shines down around you. Each of the six sides of the crystal has a door. The floor is like glistening mother-of-pearl. Decide which colour you need right now and face that wall of the crystal temple. Bathe in the coloured light that showers all over you and around you. Breathe it in and feel it fill every part of you, bringing healing qualities that you need from the colour.
When you have finished this colour breathing, stand in the centre of the crystal where all colours blend into pure light. Stand in a ray of pure light that shines all around you. Fill yourself with light as you breathe in. When you breathe out, radiate it to people and places that need peace and healing. You can use this affirmation to help you.
As you breathe in, silently say “I breathe in Light.”
Before breathing out, say “I am Light.”
As you breathe out, say “I breathe out light.”
Finish by leaving the crystal through the door you went in. Breathe more deeply, drink some water and make sure you are centred again.
