We send our best wishes to our friends everywhere. Thank you for all your good wishes during this year and especially for the messages of good will from those who have Kathleen’s new book, "Essential Oils and Meditation," published by Polair Publishing earlier in the year. This is selling very well and we have had some very good reports from those who have read it. This is available from us at £8.94 to include post and packing, or call in for one at £6.99. The book covers the spiritual history and use of 23 essential oils and includes a meditation for each one. Several yoga teachers report using the book successfully in their classes. We have also blended a vaporising oil for meditation, to go with the book. Some people who say they find meditation difficult report that it aids in achieving meditation. It is £10 a bottle and contains eleven specially blended spiritual oils.

Another new project this year is the recording of some of Kathleen’s meditations onto CD. Thanks to Jo and Neil Sumner for their help and enthusiasm for this project. Further information will be available shortly. Also this year, Kathleen has led several Yoga Days on the themes of “Chakras – The Rainbow Journey” and “The Secrets of Sequences.” Both days have proved popular and well attended.

LATEST NEWS

Congratulations to the following newly qualified yoga teachers who graduated from KEYS Yoga Teachers’ Course in July.

NEXT TEACHERS’ COURSE

The next course for those interested in becoming yoga teachers will start on September 22^nd 2007. At the time of writing, there are still places left. Workshops take place one day a month on Saturdays. The course is currently for 2 years and applicants need to have practised yoga with a qualified yoga teacher for a minimum of 2 years before applying. They also need good written and spoken communication skills. If you are interested, see our website for more details, email or ring us.

(During the last 10years, Kathleen has trained 65 qualified yoga teachers who all hold the Friends of Yoga Society (FRYOG) Diploma)

TEACHING MEDITATION COURSE

A course in the teaching of meditation, for yoga teachers and experienced meditators, begins on October 13th. It is also suitable for those who would like to take their personal meditation to a deeper level. Workshops will be once a month on Saturdays from October 2007 until March 2008. The course covers in depth some of the different approaches to meditation. Assessment is through projects according to the skills and aptitudes of the participants. SATURDAY YOGA DAY

FRYOG at The White Eagle Lodge, Kensington
Yoga, Pranayama and Breath

Kathleen has arranged to hold a reunion for all her yoga teacher graduates and other enthusiastic yogis on Saturday, November 3rd, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm., at The White Eagle Lodge, Kensington. This is a spiritual centre, with an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in the heart of the city. Step in from the street into a courtyard garden of beautiful flowers and shrubs and you will find yourself in another world. Kensington is well situated for tube, mainline rail and buses and there is no congestion charge on Saturdays. Parking is free after 1.30, but check the meter, as they vary.

ANGEL DAY

Archangels, Crystals and The Tree of Life
Saturday, September 29th 2007

This is held on Michaelmas Day, a special day, the day of St. Michael and All Angels. The day was inspired by a meditation Kathleen had about teaching a course using crystals and the archangels of the Tree of Life. Kathleen has been using The Angel Script Cards by Theolyn Cortens for several years and the cards inspired the theme of the day. This workshop will show how to access the transformative properties of The Tree Of Life, share information from the archangels, and use crystals and gemstones to cleanse and balance these potent points on the physical body. The course will be from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and the cost is £70, to include a specially dedicated set of gemstones, for the points on the body that correspond with the Tree of Life, to use at home to continue the practice. The cost also includes handouts and tea or coffee and biscuits but a packed lunch is needed. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a day with like-minded friends and it will be full of healing, peace and optimism. Our courses take place in our own workshop room at home and the maximum number for this course is nine. The Angel Script Cards and book are in stock and available from us.

MEDITATION

A Cloudless Sky

MEDITATION GROUP

This meets on a Thursday evening, once a month. Dates for the rest of this year are September 20th, October 18th, November 22nd and December 13th. If you are an experienced meditator and are interested in joining us, please ring or email for information. The theme this year is “Going Deeper.” We will be working with some traditional and other meditations to help to reach a transcendental state.

CRYSTALS

We have recently acquired some interesting and unique crystals. We have some pieces of azeztulite, which is one of the unusual stones. It is a variety of quartz with exceptional energies. According to “The Book Of Stones,” it is a mysterious stone which carries special energies and frequencies of light said to heal disease and aid in cellular regeneration. It always radiates joy and serenity. We managed to obtain a few good quality pieces of this stone, which is difficult to find. Another unusual crystal we have is called Light Workers Beacon. It is a form of candle quartz, a clear quartz elestial with connections to the angelic kingdom. It is used for meditation and personal growth to bring insight and illumination into one’s life. We have recently found some good quality danburite crystals. Danburite is another of the angelic crystals. Kathleen finds it excellent for creative inspiration. We also have some moldavite jewellery and polished moldavite gemstones for crystal layouts. Moldavite is said to be “the star born stone of transformation”, as it is a meteorite stone. We have also obtained a good stock of moldavite incense, which smells divine and contains moldavite essence. We again have large generator quartz points at various prices in stock.

We always try to keep a good stock of special crystals, so if you are looking for that special one for healing, transformation or meditation, please make an appointment to come and look at them.

As well as crystals and gem-stones, we also carry an extensive range of many new age goods – cds, yoga mats and blocks, angel and divination cards, incenses and other accessories, and books, including Kathleen’s own, which at £6.99 makes an excellent present.

WEEKLY YOGA CLASSES

TUESDAYS: This 1½ hour class meets at 7:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAYS: We have 2 classes, each of 1½ hours, at 6:30 and 8:00 p.m.
THURSDAYS: We have a 2 hour yoga and meditation class from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

In all cases, numbers are limited to not more than nine students, so that they can have individual attention and support. We do not do drop in classes and payment is by the term or half term. This is classical yoga, which includes proper breathing, yoga postures, relaxation and meditation and we specialise in a gentle approach, encouraging people to work up to their full potential gradually. THERAPIES

Kathleen continues to see clients for Zero Balancing, Indian Head Massage, crystal healing, massage and aromatherapy treatments and for personal yoga training and relaxation. Please ring for an appointment.
