INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian Head Massage is a therapy that has been practised in India for many centuries. There it is called champissage, from which we get the word shampoo. This style of massage does not use oils. It works on the upper back, neck, shoulders and head, where we are most vulnerable to stress and tension. It eases the knots and tensions from tense, tight muscles and eliminates the toxins that accumulate there. It relieves stiffness and improves lymph and blood circulation. It improves the circulation in the head, enhances the senses, improves memory and improves clarity of thinking, concentration and alertness. It has many health benefits.

Physical benefits

It relaxes general and specific muscles, disperses toxins, relieves acute and chronic shoulder pain and stiffness, loosens the scalp, relaxes the whole body, increases oxygen uptake in the tissues, improves circulation of blood and lymph drainage and relieves problems such as earache, eye strain, tinnitus, aching jaws from clenching or grinding teeth, sinusitis, headache and migraine, relieves hair disorders like alopecia, dandruff, psoriasis.
